A Snapshot of Your Day

As a member of the product engineering team, you will be responsible for project management and development of our power distribution transformers. You will work closely with the manufacturing engineering, procurement, quality and production teams to meet customer needs. Your leadership, involvement and creativity will contribute to the team’s success in achieving our business unit’s objectives.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Act as project manager for bids, orders and development.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and current standards.
  • Manage documentation on instructions and knowledge.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of engineering processes.
  • Approve new components.
  • Help solve technical operational problems and perform all compatible tasks related to your duties. 

What You Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • Three years’ experience as an electrical engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Be licensed to practice engineering in Quebec.
  • Fluent in French.  English is a plus. This position is in a French-speaking environment but requires fluency in English to comprehend documentation and technical terms from international sources, and to communicate with customers, suppliers, or international colleagues. 
  • Positive, constructive and professional.
  • Self-motivated, organized and rigorous.
  • Results-oriented leadership, execution, collaborator and team player.
