A Snapshot of Your Day

The Demand Planner monitors the status of assigned part numbers for delivery to support aftermarket sales and engine build requirements. They identify and communicate part supply risks to management and adjust demand in SAP based on changes to business need. They work cross-functionally to effectively manage supply chain transitions. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Collaborate with Teammates - and cross-functionally - to achieve team & business goals 
  • Seamlessly manage the placement of both direct and indirect purchase requisitions
  • Execute standard, specialized, & complex activities within Procurement such as purchase order maintenance, expedite activity, inbound material discrepancy resolution, GR/IR resolution, blocked invoice resolution, overdue PO follow up, MD06 exception messages, and more
  • Effectively identify issues as they arise, and take appropriate/timely steps to resolve them

 

What You Bring

  • High school diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s degree/recent college graduates preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of supply chain, logistics/inventory, forecasting, and supplier management is required. SAP experience is preferred.
  • Adaptable and seasoned cross functional communicator, with sharp critical thinking skills.
  • Must possess key skills in diplomacy, teamwork, & interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office is required. Relocation will not be provided.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
