As an EHS Specialist at Siemens Energy, your day will be filled with dynamic and meaningful tasks that drive our mission forward. You will supervise and coordinate EHS Governance and Compliance activities, support Product Safety, and address Environmental Protection topics. Your day involves maintaining and developing processes for the Business Area while promoting awareness and good practices. You will collaborate with a distributed team, ensuring that our standards are met and exceeded. Your efforts will directly impact the safety and environmental balance of our operations, contributing to Siemens Energy's mission of reliable and balanced energy.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Signpost EHS Leads to Corporate EQS standards, policies, and instructions.
  • Act as the point of contact between Business Area and Country Core EHS on compliance topics.
  • Contribute to EHS audits (internal/external) as Business Area level representative and review and guide audit plans and risk evaluations.
  • Conduct EHS incident reporting assessment and trend analysis.
  • Coordinate and schedule reviews of Business Area specific processes.
  • Consolidate Business Area Management Reviews to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Represent Gas Services in Corporate EQS meetings, where requested.
  • Act as Project EQS Lead and Business Area Contact for nominated programmes.
  • Foster and sustain effective connections with customers and partners.
  • Share technical expertise to improve knowledge and competence in Gas Services.

What You Bring

  • Professional qualifications and experience in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH/OHSA/CSP/ASP).
  • Understanding of coordinated management systems and ISO14001 (environment), ISO45001 (health and safety), and ISO50001 (energy management).
  • EHS auditor qualifications and practical auditing experience.
  • Experience working with product-related EHS Management concepts, including Material Compliance.
  • Ability to interpret EHS legislation and transfer requirements to business operations/applications.
  • Experience delivering and coordinating cross-function projects.
  • Ability to translate trend analysis, opportunities, and risks into business actions.
  • Adaptability to a dynamic work environment, with fast-paced and timely delivery of tasks.
  • A flexible communication style, suitable for all levels of the business.

About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonisation opportunities through service offerings, modernisation, and digitalisation of the fleet.
