A Snapshot of Your Day

 As an EHS Specialist, you will guide and support the implementation of EHS programs in support of our Field Service organization.  This position is responsible for supporting Field Service outage and maintenance projects at various customer locations in Region North America, with a potential to support projects in other regions. This position will report to the EHS Manager responsible for Fossil Field Service.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • This position will support the Field Service and/or fixed facility locations on various EHS related projects. 
  • Provide support on EHS related training
  • Provide EHS compliance guidance to project teams
  • Perform EHS observations/audits of project sites
  • Consult and communicate with customer representatives
  • Administer post incident case management 
  • Lead incident investigations related to EHS events
  • Maintain EHS data as required for Siemens internal reporting


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health Science or with equivalent experience and training
  • A minimum of 5 years of combined Environmental Health and Safety experience and training required.
  • Industrial Hygiene experience is preferred. SE will support professional development in IH.
  • You must understand OSHA, Worker's Compensation, EPA, DOT, and applicable State regulations and how these regulations impact business.
  • Experience with root cause analysis (RCA) assessment and incident investigation is required.
  • You must be flexible with travel to project locations throughout the US.
