How You’ll Make an Impact

• Works within the Gas Services Distributed Organization to identify, evaluate, develop, and follow-up on digitalization business projects for Services

• Develops and executes an annual plan for meeting their individual target, and plans / forecasts order volumes based on proactive opportunity development within the assigned territory

• Coordinates GS D regional / PL technical resources in pursuit of digitalization business for the assigned territory

• Investigates and evaluates specific digitalization business opportunities for the client related product and service portfolio. Qualifies opportunities to determine bid strategy and solution

• Manages the sales funnel by timely documenting the life cycle of digitalization business opportunities and ensure all digitalization business opportunities are properly entered into Salesforce.com (SFDC), forecasted and tracked to closure

• Prepares, coordinates and conducts project & proposal negotiations in cooperation with the PL or other BAs and other regional resources, identifies market price levels and applies or recommends discounts as required in accordance with GS D discounting policies

• Performs / Coordinates the preparation and tracking of proposals in support of the identified opportunities, regional cost modeling and guarantees. Integrates multiple product line/cross-BA offerings and localized content

• Supports customers directly in cost/benefits analyses and calculations in order to demonstrate specific advantages of using Siemens Energy products

• Provides voice of the client needs/competitive intelligence, market drivers and buying influences for the development of new product and service offerings

• Initiates the LoA (Limits of Authority) Management process for digitalization business in accordance with GS D global policies

• Support local PMs during project duration with strong cross-functional team leadership

• Have key insights into the GS digitalization portfolio and be familiar with the products and their associated business models.

• Good understanding of existing market and solutions in the industrial digitalization environment.

What You Bring

• Master’s level education Bachelor Degree in energy/energy systems or associated fieldsEngineering equivalent.

• Self-driven and intrinsically motivated to take ownership of work.

o Target driven and willing to perform above and beyond the call of duty

o Work in creative environments, employ outside-the-box thinking

o Has experience and good track record in managing projects as well as expertise in case and business model development, project risk management, & stakeholder management.

• A good understanding of the Gas Services business in the Distributed market, including but not limited to: customers, regional set-up, strategy, business processes, especially as these businesses/customers/markets/processes relate to digitalization.

• Strong understanding of Digitalization, digital products & services as well as associated ‘best practices’ and business models.

• Strong understanding and experience in target/goal-oriented digital roadmap creation from a value creation perspective.

• Be an excellent communicator in culturally diverse environments
