A Snapshot of Your Day

The Winston Service Center (WSC) Airfoil area has an opening for a proactive self-starter that can provide exceptional customer service and collaboration within the organization for an established business at Winston Service Center.  You will interface with customers that are external to WSC but primarily internal to Siemens Energy on a regular basis either collecting and managing requests for quotes, processing orders, or providing updates to existing orders. You will also interface with internal WSC employees to get status updates, assist with questions, and be the interface between the Engineering and manufacturing services within WSC to the quote or order requestor


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Interface with external and internal customers and actively communicate with them to provide status, and address any concerns
  • Provide customer service, guidance, and standard support for products and/or programs
  • Supports the coordination of activities with other internal departments to meet customer needs
  • Work closely with plant supervision and scheduling to help prioritize orders
  • Create/provide reports on customer centered metrics to upper management
  • Utilize the “Voice of the Customer” process to ensure success


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma with equivalent experience is required.
  • 3 + years of customer facing experience is required, preferably in the manufacturing industry and environment. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office programs.
  • Expert verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
  • As a federal contractor, Siemens Energy continues to monitor federal and state legal guidelines regarding the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Siemens Energy is pausing its mandatory vaccine policy while the issue is addressed by the courts.
