A Snapshot of Your Day

The Customer Service Manager is responsible for the overall success of customer service, order execution and planning activities that support and are critical to the health of Repair Operations for hot end gas turbine products.  Incumbent interfaces directly with customers, field sales, operations, and engineering personnel. This job description does not preclude the performance of other duties by the incumbent. 


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Manage daily operations and performance of customer service and operations planning.
  • Works closely with Orlando Order Management to maintain effective order management, from receipt of parts to shipment ensuring on-time delivery targets are met.
  • Coordination with Global Operations, Strategic Planning, Technical Innovation and Developmental Engineering to ensure repair capabilities are in place to meet forecast needs.
  • Works closely with Global Operations on Forecast/Cost Model Pricing/Lead/Leap savings targets and actuation. Develop and manage tools designed to visualize and facilitate effective production planning. Monitor customer production requirements and coordinates schedule adjustments when required.  Communicates effectively and timely any schedule changes or adjustments.
  • Generates and evaluates/analyzes production reports and metrics and coordinates activities that positively impacts results of short- and long-range goals. Collaborate on Root Cause and Corrective Actions resulting from reported Non-Conformances
  • The role requires the position to work at the site Monday thru Friday.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA)/Associates Degree preferred; high school diploma/GED with equivalent work-related experience is required.
  • 5+ plus years of manufacturing experience. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
  • Experience in Customer Service, Sales or Planning a plus.
  • Strong background in skills training, people development and ability to integrate cross functional staff into a cohesive team.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
