A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Commercial Project Manager (CPM) you will work side by side with the Project Manager (PM) at the transformers factory in Guanajuato, as well as the commercial partner of the internal customers. The CPM acts along with the PM as entrepreneurs of each project. Achievement through being and acting profitable, pro-active and professional. CPM leads all commercial and financial aspects related to the projects in a responsible manner within the given schedule, costs, and quality during project planning and execution phase.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Create financial transparency and analyze deviations by comparison of; Offer calculation.order entry calculation, re-calculation with actual material rates and quantities and concurrent cost calculation.
  • Contribute to forecast accuracy by providing planned Cash Flow to Controlling and coordinate action items with PMs (focus on cost optimization)
  • Ensure terms and conditions are adhered and where possible claims to be initiated.
  • Influence commercial offer team to considered learnings / risk buffers in the calculation by cost deviations (materials on component base, working hours, others etc.) noted during project execution.
  • Resolve potential for improvements in running projects.
  • Periodical assessment of project risks (contingencies) and opportunity management with the project Team Leader
  • Schedule and coordinate project reviews (incl. participants and list of projects to review) and ensure follow up of actions items.
  • Contribute to the profit forecast by aggregating all the risks and opportunities.
What You Bring 
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/ business administration/ accounting or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience.
  • Candidate should be able to effectively communicate technical financial information to non-financial internal customers.
  • To coordinate employees for some other areas that are part of the project.
  • Fluent Spanish and English
  • Required amount of travel 15%
  • Knowledge of SAP, Alteryx, UI Path and Tableau a plus
