What You Bring 

  • Experience in commercial aspects of execution and controlling of (construction) projects
  • BS/BA required, degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 5+ years of professional experience in BA field to be considered for the level 7 and 8+ years for the level 6.
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP and IFRS, strong skills in PC applications, primarily SAP, Microsoft Office, as well as strong analytical skills
  • CPA, MBA, PMI certification are considered a plus
  • Work independently, capable at multitasking and meeting deadlines; great team player and open to learn
  • As a federal contractor, Siemens Energy continues to monitor federal and state legal guidelines regarding the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Siemens Energy is pausing its mandatory vaccine policy while the issue is addressed by the courts. SEI will monitor the situation closely and may reimplement its policy if required to comply with federal law. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Financial execution of construction projects including creating sale orders and setting up project in SAP, revenue recognition, invoicing and payment terms, maintenance of project costs, securities, taxes and insurance requirements
  • Project Controlling, Forecasting and Reporting of financial status for portfolio of dedicated projects
  • Commercial support of tender activities, leading commercial aspects of tender preparation up to bid submission and post bid follow up.
  • Ensures the accuracy of project books and records and their compliance with financial guidelines
  • Support the Technical Project Manager in project steering /contract negotiations, accounting, development of strategies or solutions.

Transmission Solution unit in US consists of 60 multinational employees supporting execution of turnkey construction projects in 4 different segments (HVDC, Grid access, SVC and Substation turnkeys) We closely cooperate with our headquarters in Germany and/or our colleagues in UK. We are on average quite junk, flexible and passionate team operating out of Raleigh, serving the whole US market.
