A Snapshot of Your Day

The Client Sales Manager is a client facing position that operates within Northern California (Bay Area). Through direct interactions with customers, the Client Sales Manager will develop an understanding of customers’ business needs and goals. Through collaboration with product and services experts, the Client Sales Manager will align the appropriate Siemens Energy’s solutions with their customers’ needs and goals.

The Client Sales Manager is the single face of the organization to their customers, owns the account relationships, and plays an integral role so all customers experience world-class service and support.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Development and execution of an annual vigorous Territory Plan
  • Management and deployment of selling resources within the Territory
  • Opportunity Management Tracking/Forecasting and Competitive Awareness
  • Win/Loss Reporting, Defining/Communicating Client Needs/Market Conditions


What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
  • 8 years of experience in rotating equipment industry with knowledge of turbo/reciprocating/steam applications. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
  • Strong client relationship building at all levels
  • Aero/thermo performance knowledge a plus.
  • Prior experience in dealing with major USA based upstream, downstream, and midstream customers.
  • Travel 50% in the territory of major accounts (Domestic only)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

In our Business Unit Industrial Applications, we offer comprehensive digital portfolio solutions in the oil and gas sector and other process industries comprising rotating equipment, electrification, and solutions for Subsea business.


Department Information- The Siemens Energy Field Service department for industrial applications serves a growing market of small and medium gas turbines. Our personnel service the fleet across the USA and occasionally in Canada or abroad. Our personnel are highly trained and perform at a high level of expectation to safely provide OEM valued service to our clients.
