Your profile
• You should be having University degree in IT or a related field.
• You should be having several years of experience in Service Management (e. g. ITIL certification).
• You should be having experience in Requirements Engineering and IT Demand Management.
• You should be having the ability to understand business processes and felicitate requirements.
• You should be having experience as well as in-depth knowledge of IT software development projects.
• You should be having customer-oriented behaviour as well as the ability to work together with responsibility and respect.
• You should be having fluent Business English written and spoken.
• You should be having abstraction capability and logical thinking.
• You should be having basic experience in the technology of Web- or Mobile-Applications as well as distributed IT systems (Microservices).
Your responsibilities
The Application Expert (AE) has the core task of taking over all important daily tasks in service and is the first contact person for the Business Power User in the 2nd level. The AE deals with incidents and takes care of bug fixing as well as coordinating the implementation of small to medium change request packages. In this role, the AE acts as a liaison between the business side and the development team. The AE reports KPIs to the responsible Application/Service Manager regularly and monitors quality criteria so that, in the best case, the service manager only must do the annual service planning.
• You will be responsible for SPOC for Business Power User concerning the related application Incident Management.
• You will be responsible perform 2nd level support (if the 1st level could not solve the issue) and clarification of bugs.
• You will be responsible check incoming service tickets, forwarding them to the related developer, if applicable, and finding the best possible solution for the customer.
• You will be responsible manage, coordinating, and approving releases (bug fixes & change requests with the responsible project manager).
• You will be responsible authorize users.
• You will be responsible perform application-specific configurations.
• You will be responsible perform integration tests & support user acceptance tests.
• You will be responsible manage, functional users.
• You will be responsible maintain application-related documentation (Confluence, Wikisphere).
• You will be responsible carry out performance analysis in case of issues in the related tools
• You will be responsible for service Monitoring - Check log files and monitoring outputs
• You will be responsible analyze outages and performance measures to avoid issues in the future.
• You will be responsible maintain interfaces (only configuration updates, no implementation).
• You will be responsible identify measures to optimize the application service.
• You will be responsible manage quality (ensuring compliance processes).
• You will be responsible implement re-organizations in the application.
• You will be responsible execute security measures (CERT, ACP, Info Sec).
• You will be responsible for service reporting & controlling.
• You will be responsible document and reporting outages.
