Description

A Snapshot of Your Day:

Technical and economical engineering of HV GIS substations for multinational projects in accordance with client demands worldwide, understanding and applying global technical standards. Build technical offer and order paperwork for HV switchgear using 3D engineering tools.

How you will make an Impact:

  • Technical and economical engineering of HV GIS substations for international projects according to global customer requirements
  • Knowledge and usage of international technical standards, e.g., IEC, IEEE
  • Understanding and analysis of technical customer requirements, verification with standard or innovative product portfolio solutions
  • Design of switchgear layout for customer concepts
  • Creation of technical offer and order documentation for complex HV switchgear with 3-D engineering tools: Single line diagram, Substation layout, plan- and section views, Technical calculation
  • Technical clarification with offer and order management, internal and external customer and suppliers
  • Controlling of product costs, time schedule, technique, product and process quality
  • Analysis and evaluation of project related risks including elaboration of risk minimizing and usage of opportunities
  • Collaboration and coordination with mechanical, secondary and factory engineering, regional teams, EPC’s and other interface partners
  • Willingness of international business trips, especially for engineering training & collaboration with German team in Erlangen & Berlin
  • Active working for process and interface optimization

What you Bring:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, Master’s degree preferred
  • 2 or more-years of experience with a focus on engineering of High Voltage switchgear and substations
  • Excellent knowledge of High Voltage products, systems, and electrical network
  • Experienced knowledge and usage of 3D CAD and CAE tools
  • Proficient in spoken and written English, good communication skills
  • Intercultural experience
  • Proven record of successful engineering projects
