A Snapshot of Your Day
As a bid manager for electrical equipment, you will work on worldwide proposals for excitation system and other electrical bids as like SynCon, black starts and various components
That also includes:
• Support in customer clarification meetings and work together with sales, among others, to develop customer-specific solutions.
• Work creatively with our product management and developers to conceptualize and estimate efforts on customer-specific adaptions or bridge-the-gap-solutions
• Ensure a smooth project start through early-on collaboration with the designated project manager
You will be part of a supportive global team with very good working atmosphere.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• Support of the sales team with technical clarifications and answers during the offer phase
• Investigation and recording of power plant assets with subsequent technical description of tasks for different technical departments and applications
• Creation of technical "turn-key" offers, according to the specifications of the customer, the sales staff or according to the results of the plant recordings
• Deep communication with suppliers for hardware components, including details clarification for the offers to be prepared
• Cost and price calculation of the offers to be offered
• Conducting customer meetings and presentations of solution concepts and the prepared offers
• Development of solution concepts for synchronous condenser, black-start and other future topics due to the general change in the energy market
What You Bring
• Successfully completed degree (Dipl.-Ing. / Master) in electrical engineering. Ideally with long term employment as: energy system engineer or comparable, with practical professional experience
• Several years of professional experience in the field of general electrical engineering, power engineering, plant constructions, generator auxiliary (lubrication / cooling systems and general mechanics) engineering
• Pronounced affinity for special electrical and mechanical construction engineering, development of special topics and pilot projects
• Fluent in English
• Possession of a valid driving license and willingness to travel
