Your profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field. 
  • Education as professional accountant.
  • 7 plus years of experience in operational accounting. 
  • Knowledge of projects implementation desirable.
  • Work experience of SAP advantageous for this role.  End-to-end understanding of business processes in ERP landscape (e.g. SAP FI, CO).
  • IFRS and local GAAP accounting knowledge.
  • Full English

Your responsibilities

  • Ensures application and implementation of approved accounting policies for assigned organizational units, in line with respective legal/regulatory requirements (i.e. IFRS).
  • Ensures that personnel in business is trained on updates and new accounting policies and that processes and practices are adjusted as required.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to the GP Operating Company for all accounting topics.
  • Ensures that internal controls are in place and work effectively. 
  • Cooperates with internal partners and external auditors during the regular closing process.
  • Drives, manages and assesses improvements in governance procedures for General Ledger and all sub-ledgers for GP Operating Company.
  • Ensures compliance with local accounting, tax, statutory and other applicable regulations in Finance/Accounting.
  • Assists in assessing and implementing system changes as required due to global or local changes in regulations or process improvements.
  • Supports the GP Operating Company with Accounting Memos and alignment with internal partners and external auditors.
