A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Key Account Manager, you are the responsible person for your market. You are travelling a lot to visit our customers, to keep the relation, to understand their needs and the new developments on your market. You are looking for new projects on the market, following up offers provided to customers, regularly updating the offer pipeline, negotiating with customers, and bringing the orders. During the execution phase, you are the contact person for our customer in case of any escalation, you coordinate with our factories and solve the issues on behalf of our customers.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Responsibility of assigned key customers in Middle East and selected countries in Europe for bushing business, especially for Transformer Manufacturer (OEMs) and End Customers (Utilities)
  • Regularly visit the customers and participate at the important energy exhibitions in your region
  • Ensure profitable business growth
  • Ensure customer satisfaction. Make sure appropriate support from factory is provided. Coordinate with factory Offer Management, Engineering and if necessary, with other departments.
  • Develop opportunities in the market, implement bid winning strategies and ensure timely and economical optimized offers
  • Follow-up the provided offers regularly and keep the offer pipeline for the factories up to date
  • Monitor Sales activities with local Sales (RC, Agent, etc…)
  • Establish growth plan for each key customer

What You Bring

  • Master’s degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Sales. Ideally experience in selling high voltage products to OEM customers
  • Strong customer focused approach
  • Sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Will for change and ability to motivate others for change 
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent English proficiency 
  • International work experience and intercultural teamwork is mandatory
  • Sales and negotiation skills and experience
  • Experience in contractual law / Terms & Conditions 
  • Analytical mindset and systematic work approach
  • Willingness to travel internationally (50% out of office)
  • Erlangen or Berlin preferred, but also possible to work from other locations
