A Snapshot of Your Day 

You will part of a team designing and implementing cloud-based applications and digital services as part of the Engineering Ecosystem in the Energy Transmission Solutions domain.

Collaborating with a distributed cross-functional team of Software & DevOps Engineers and Designers, you will contribute to innovative solutions that drive our projects forward, making a meaningful impact in the energy sector.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for message-driven systems using Kotlin and Golang
  • Research, recommend and implement tools as needed with the goal of continually increasing our development productivity
  • Architect and implement scalable and resilient systems on AWS
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, following best practices and design patterns following Domain-Driven Design
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s (or higher) Degree in Computer Science with over two years of real-world programming experience.
  • Experience with AWS foundational cloud services (serverless) for storage, computation, event and data processing and in building message-driven systems and working with messaging queues and topics
  • Proficiency in developing serverless microservices using AWS Lambda, SNS, SQS, and managing cloud infrastructure with Terraform.
  • Experience building message-driven systems and a solid understanding of event-driven architectures and cloud-native solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous APIs, RESTful services, and developing monitoring and reporting systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in English, and experience working in a multi-national agile team with a problem-solving attitude.
