About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
The successful candidate role will involve the ongoing sales activities and growth of Siemens Energy power capacitor business in the US. You will have daily interaction with internal teams both here in the US and globally. The interaction with your allocated customers and region will be on an as needed basis. You will be leading/guiding the proposal team in the preparation of the proposals and be heavily involved in the preparation and approval process for each proposal.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop strategies for market penetration of Siemens Energy Power Capacitors.
- Execute account plans to achieve business goals.
- Deliver technical presentations to key customers as needed.
- Lead business development within key accounts or markets.
- Manage the proposal process, including technical solutions, cost calculations, and pricing.
- Oversee proposal negotiations and handover to the project team post-award.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of successful experience in the transmission and distribution industry.
- Experience in reactive power compensation, power quality, FACTS, sales, or business development is a plus.
- Strong business acumen, balancing customer needs with business goals, and improving technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, team collaboration, organizational, and time management skills.
- Organization and time management skills to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Travel up to 25%
