About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in industrial environments and technical projects to lead cross-functional teams focused on delivering advanced solutions for automation, data integration, and industrial systems. As a Technical Project Manager, you will manage multiple projects in sectors such as oil and gas, energy, and industrial automation, ensuring the timely delivery of innovative solutions that align with organizational and customer goals.
This role requires a deep understanding of Project Management and Agile principles, combined with hands-on experience in overseeing teams that design and implement solutions for industrial systems. You will work closely with engineers, technical specialists, and stakeholders to drive execution, resolve challenges, and ensure alignment with business priorities.
If you are passionate about leading projects in an industrial and highly technical environment, this position offers the opportunity to drive innovation, optimize team performance, and contribute to cutting-edge industrial solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Project Management: Guide and coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure alignment with business goals, as well as the scope, timeline, and deliverables of industrial projects. Oversee daily execution by facilitating regular meetings to review progress, address blockers, and synchronize team efforts for successful industrial project outcomes.
- Industrial Focus: Understand the technical and operational specifics of industrial systems, to effectively support teams in delivering solutions tailored to these environments.
- Technical Management: Track technical progress, ensure daily execution, and monitor team-level metrics such as velocity and task completion.
- Team Development: Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance by mentoring teams to self-organize and continuously improve.
- Scrum Process: Guide multiple teams in Agile practices and principles, ensuring alignment with industrial project requirements and objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Define and implement daily workflows, processes, and governance to optimize team performance and drive industrial solutions success.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track project-level KPIs, including timeline adherence, budget utilization, and resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively manage stakeholder expectations by building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and providing regular updates on project progress.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and address risks related to project timelines, quality, and scope, with a focus on mitigating challenges specific to industrial systems integration. Escalate operational risks or blockers to relevant stakeholders when resolution is not possible at the project level.
- Obstacle Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve obstacles that may hinder progress, especially those unique to industrial systems and environments.
What You Bring
Proficiency in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, AzureDevOps) and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring abilities, with the capacity to inspire teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, particularly in technical and industrial contexts.
Strong understanding of industrial systems and technologies.
Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, with experience in tailoring Agile practices for technical and industrial projects.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager or Agile Leader, with a proven track record in managing teams within industrial environments such as oil and gas, energy, automation, or manufacturing.
