In your role as Team Lead, you are responsible for guiding a team of 11 highly skilled Loads and Validation engineers. You oversee the team’s performance and validation activities, while ensuring efficient prioritization and resource allocation in collaboration with project managers and sister departments. Help with individual and team growth, improve tools and methods, work with research partners to advance renewable energy solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Overall responsibility for team operations and performance within load assessments, aero-elastic analysis, and load validation
• Supporting team members in their individual development and growth
• Team development including recruitment, training, and retention of the right people with needed competences
• Handle priorities and team member allocation in collaboration with our sister departments, technical project managers and other functions
• Manage/lead improvement initiatives and support with Sales and Service tasks
• Ensure continuous development of methods, tools and processes in alignment with other domains
• Maintain and develop interfaces to universities and other research partners and keeping you updated within the technical domain

The ideal candidate has a background as a Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineer (M.Sc. or similar) and brings solid project and people management experience. In addition, you:

About the Team

The loads and validation team in Ballerup is a part of our Turbine Loads department which is an integral part of the Siemens Gamesa Technology organization. The Turbine Loads department consists of dedicated engineers divided across Denmark, France, India and Spain.

We drive the latest developments of turbine load design and validations and play a decisive role from the scoping of future turbines, through the load design process with strong interfaces internally and with customers/certifiers, to prototype validation and finally releasing the product for sales. To do so, we develop and maintain advanced tools for aero-servo-elastic analysis and validation.
