About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
Imagine leading the Back Office department at the Aalborg plant, where you will provide essential day-to-day operational leadership for a team of 16 onsite. This new Team Lead position will enable you to focus on strategic improvements and achieving factory performance targets. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring production continuity while upholding process and safety standards.
As the Team Lead, you will have the opportunity to drive team performance, operational efficiency, and compliance within the manufacturing environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Provide daily supervision, guidance, and support to a team of professionals and para-professionals.
- Set clear individual and team goals aligned with operational targets and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Facilitate team member development through coaching, mentoring, and identifying training needs.
- Ensure team adherence to all company policies, practices, and safety procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the team’s operational issues and escalations.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring all work is performed according to EHS standards.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes and workflows.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the maintenance team and report on progress.
- Support the implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability.
What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree or a vocational qualification in a relevant technical field such as Engineering, Mechanics, or Electronics.
- Several years of experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated people management of a larger and experienced team is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on accountability and performance management.
- Technical and safety knowledge, particularly in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards.
