A Snapshot of Your Day 

Join our dynamic Supplier Quality & Development organization, where you will play a key role in securing a high-performing supply base focused on quality, reliability, and safety. In this position, you will directly support the Gas Services Central Global Customer Operations business by qualifying and developing electrical system suppliers globally. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with suppliers, and ensure that all sourced components meet the highest standards - contributing significantly to operational excellence and a sustainable energy future. 

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Support cross-functional teams through supplier capability assessments, audits of supplier quality management systems, and evaluations of process maturity
  • Lead cross-functional teams to perform Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) for commodity parts in accordance with defined process descriptions and standards
  • Plan, track, and report PPQ project milestones, resource needs, and budgets, while supporting supplier quality assurance measures throughout the qualification
  • Assist commodity strategic buyers in developing procurement strategies and support project planning within Commodity Circles
  • Represent Supplier Quality in cross-functional design reviews to ensure quality requirements, manufacturability, and compliance are integrated early in the product development process
  • Typical equipment of suppliers in scope includes MCC, Switchgear, Switchboards, Panel Boards, UPS, Transformers, Static Excitation Systems, Static Frequency Converters, Batteries & Charging Systems, E-houses, Cables, and Bus Ducting
What You Bring
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or a closely related technical discipline; equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered
  • Several years of professional experience in supplier quality management, quality management, or engineering in the field of medium- and low-voltage electrical systems and components (10+ years preferred)
  • Proven experience in supplier evaluation, qualification, product and process qualification, and technical supplier development
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, UL, and IEC standards
  • Extensive auditing experience; ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certifications preferred
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to approx. 30–35%)

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
