A Snapshot of Your Day
Join a global Substation Automation team where your expertise in IEC 61850 and control systems directly shapes reliable HV and MV substations worldwide. You work hands‑on with HMI and SCADA engineering, translating customer requirements into robust, compliant control solutions. From reviewing specifications to designing communication architectures, you engage closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Every day, you balance technical depth, collaboration, and ownership—delivering high‑quality automation solutions that perform in the field.
Located in Split, Zagreb or Osijek (Croatia), you will be a part of the team of Pro Integris d.o.o. who is the 100% Siemens Energy subsidiary/legal entity.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead control system specification handling for Substation Automation projects, including concept diagrams for control systems and communication interfaces with RTUs, HMIs, and IEDs.
- Engineer HMIs and RTUs across multiple vendors, with practical experience in SICAM PAS, A8000, SCC, and COPA‑DATA zenon considered a strong advantage.
- Design network architectures and select components for substation automation systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance.
- Contribute technical expertise to customer offers and create project‑specific documentation such as functional design specifications, signal lists, and test protocols.
- Implement cyber security measures, supervise sub‑suppliers during execution, and support project meetings while maintaining responsibility for quality, timelines, and costs.
What You Bring
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, automation, or a related field, combined with experience in a similar role or industry.
- Solid knowledge of Substation Automation systems and the IEC 61850 standard.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and German.
- A collaborative working style paired with strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel worldwide based on project requirements.
