You serve as a catalyst for change, playing a pivotal role in a multi-functional team. Your responsibilities include leading and participating in the development and implementation of key initiatives aimed at enhancing performance, capabilities, and collaboration across various business areas. Lead, mentor, and collaborate with global teams to improve governance documentation understanding.

How You will Make an Impact

  • Develop and lead innovative strategic programs and projects aimed at enhancing current governance documentation and improving performance, capabilities, and collaboration across business areas to boost the overall effectiveness of Strategic Procurement.
  • Use problem-solving methodologies to diagnose issues and opportunities, proactively identify and mitigate risks, and initiate actions to meet specific or systemic business needs.
  • Leading these initiatives involves planning, tracking, and reporting project achievements, as well as managing budget and resource needs.
  • Develop systematic methodologies, new approaches, and standard process guides based on experience gained from conducting Functional Excellence and Digitalization activities. These will be shared with internal and external business entities to improve the overall Supplier Quality competency across Siemens Energy’s supply base.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Procurement, Business, or Engineering and with 3+ years of experience within the field. You are a proactive self-starter with strong initiative, determination, and self-reliance. Your profile is highlighted by your awareness of organizational behavior, strategic and analytical thinking, leadership skills, and intercultural expertise.
  • You take ownership, are inquisitive and comfortable challenging the status quo by asking questions in a professional environment where you may not always be the expert.
  • You hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in industrial engineering, business administration, or a similar field. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in quality, procurement, or supply chain will also be considered.
  • You have proven professional experience in supplier quality management, strategic procurement, quality management, manufacturing, or a related technical area.
  • You have demonstrated experience as a change agent, leading and/or facilitating projects and task forces, ensuring the continuous progression of projects, promptly resolving any obstacles that arise, and managing virtual multi-functional teams in an international environment!
  • You have experience in procedure development, project management, data analytics and effectively communicating facts and results across various organizational levels. Up to 25% of travel.
