A Snapshot of Your Day 

You support the electrical engineering team with your strong background in high power rectifier systems and renewable power plant connections. In the morning you support a project development regarding the capabilities and limits of the converter systems used and explain the interdependencies in the operation which need to be considered. Later you prepare for a review of the power electronics design tool which you have developed in Matlab and host the workshop with various experts in the field in the afternoon. Before you finish your day, you receive a call from a supplier regarding details in the specification for primary electric equipment ordered for a large scale electrolysis plant.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Join in converter related feasibility and R&D activities
  • Development and execution of competitive power supply solutions for connection to renewable power plants, energy storage systems, etc.
  • Development of required design tools in Matlab
  • Support in project execution activities for industrial scale electrolysis plants
What You Bring
  • Master’s degree or PhD in electrical engineering with strong focus on power electronics
  • Experience in the development or testing of high current rectifier system using IGBTs, IGCTs, or SiC MOSFETs
  • Background in electrolysis applications and connection to renewable power plants
  • High self-organisation and reliability
  • Strong communication skills in English, German is a plus
  • Resilience in managing the daily business
