A Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Solution Architect to lead HR IT Analytics initiatives, offering strategic and technical expertise in analytics solutions for HR Processes.

The role involves crafting HR analytic solutions based on Snowflake and Power BI and maintaining a robust technical landscape that enables the HR business to derive critical insights. With a balanced focus, this position entails approximately 50% technical execution, 20% IT service management (covering financials, invoicing, and vendor management), and 30% strategic alignment, collaboration, and change request discussions. Working closely with HR Data Hub team, and alignment with the broader COIN application team, you will ensure a seamless connection with the HR Business Team. The HR Data Hub with Snowflake as the primary data source, will be key in driving your solutions, supported by a wider team. You will collaborate with the Product Owners, Global Process Owners and other stakeholders from the various business areas. The position also includes budget oversight and management of external costs and AWS expenditure, supporting the HRL budget and project financials, as well as engaging in vendor management when necessary. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Design and develop scalable HR analytics solutions that align with business objectives, focusing on data integration, transformation and reporting.
  • Be responsible for the consultation and collaboration with business partners, HR Teams, and executives to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and offer strategic guidance for analytics and data-driven decisions.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership across various platforms, especially in Power BI, SQL and Snowflake, ensuring optimal solutions for data storage, processing and visualization.
  • Design, develop and optimize ETL workflows to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability for HR and financial reporting.
  • Handle the entire analytics process lifecycle from data extraction to visualization, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and actionable insights.
  • Contract and service budget management with our partners,
  • Lead a wide range of AWS or Azure Microsoft or Google Cloud platform services including but not limited to ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, MSK, IAM, and VPC.
  • Coordinate and develop infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  • In-depth understanding of networking concepts and standard processes in cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of security standard methodologies and compliance requirements in cloud solutions.

What You Bring

  • Proficiency in Snowflake and Power BI, and other data warehousing and reporting tools.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools and data workflow design.
  • Excellent consulting and communication skills with the ability to engage collaborators at all levels.
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering and cloud web-based solutions certification are desirable.
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud architectures or similar (At least 5 years of proven experience in this area)
  • Multi-year experience in data based management like Oracle, SQL, PostGreSQL, MongoDB
  • Experience with container technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Good communication skills in English
