A Snapshot of Your Day

This role is for Senior Project Professionals who want to join our TI EAD ME team and help us transform industry landscape and transition society toward a more sustainable future. As senior Project Manager, you will be reporting to the Responsible Business Manager. Your principal role will be the management of the overall project through all phase from PM080 till PM670, being accountable for profit and loss, change management, project reporting, team management as well as mentoring and coaching of your project team. You should have previously managed large and complex projects in the energy industry and be able to demonstrate success in your previous project delivery.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead the project team in an exemplary and inspirational manner, executing projects within defined requirements for safety, time, cost, quality, and system performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, legislation, and corporate governance requirements while delivering business success and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide professional stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely decisions on open issues and escalating when necessary.
  • Manage robust contract execution and administration in a compliant manner, acting as a project entrepreneur to maximize opportunities for improvement.
  • Take full responsibility for risk, opportunity, and issue management, influencing the formulation of necessary contracts and negotiating change requests with stakeholders.
  • Set up and maintain the Siemens Energy Project Management Plan, ensure efficient communication with all relevant stakeholders, train and mentor project managers in the EAD ME PM community, and adhere to Siemens Business Conduct Guidelines, including tax regulations, export control, and EHS standards.

What You Bring 

  • Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering is highly preferable, with experience in automation projects considered an added advantage; candidates with different qualifications may be considered based on relevant experience.
  • 10-15 years of professional experience in a technical environment, preferably in automation or electrification projects, with a strong background in project execution within the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing multicultural teams in an exemplary and inspirational manner, ensuring effective collaboration and team performance.
  • Proficient in project execution while adhering to defined requirements for safety, time, cost, quality, and functionality/system performance, with proficiency in MS Project or other project management software.
  • Fluent in English, capable of effective communication with the Global Operations community, and possessing a global mindset with strong intercultural sensitivity.
  • Ability to work independently in a multicultural environment, demonstrating ownership of tasks, a positive can-do attitude, and the capacity to prioritize activities in a demanding environment; this office-based position requires occasional travel to customer sites for meetings and project-related activities.
