The Sales Director - Americas for Compression Business will be responsible for leading the New Unit sales team in the USA. The role will involve developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve business objectives, managing sales account managers, and building strong relationships with customers. The role will also involve developing people and building leaders within the sales team.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet CP business objectives, while managing key accounts and fostering strong customer relationships, including handling escalations.
- Oversee a team of US-based sales personnel, ensuring equitable workload distribution and fostering a collaborative environment across all functions involved in bid management, operations, and project execution to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Regularly report to senior management on sales performance, emphasizing profitability, growth in energy transition business, and forecasting accuracy.
- Focus on the professional development of the sales team, aiming to nurture talents and cultivate future leadership within the organization.
- Champion a culture of ownership and accountability within the sales team to drive success and alignment with business goals.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required, though relevant experience may also be considered; minimum 6 years in sales/proposals, with at least 3 years in sales team leadership. Those with more experience may be considered for a more senior level.
- Strong preference for experience in compression technology, including product selection and proposal generation, with a proven track record in successful sales of compression products and systems.
- Excellent communication, networking, and collaboration skills, with proficiency in English and a customer-focused attitude that demonstrates understanding and empathy.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, demonstrating a structured and analytical approach.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector. Increasing electrification and efficiency are key and demand for green H2 and derivative fuels will rise.
