Title: SCM Specialist Professional

Location: Orlando, FL

Position Overview:

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, LLC is seeking a SCM Specialist Professional (Orlando, FL) to analyze and develop the elements of Procurement and/or Logistics processes, in order to achieve and implement highly efficient Procurement/Logistics standards within assigned organization units. Analyze and optimize the organization´s processes to enhance performance. Establish, monitor, update, and benchmark metrics, and derive and propose measures to improve. Provide analysis as required by Supply Chain Management. Propose and take responsibility for defined and assigned improvement projects. Initiate and implement supplier improvement programs. Establish operational vendor relations, identify and resolve vendor conflicts. Establish supply chain management-oriented customer relations in order to meet customer expectations. Cooperate with internal Procurement, Controlling and Logistics functions to ensure acceptance of and adherence to supply chain processes, guidelines, and tools. Communicate with external auditors. Contribute to projects, work groups and the training of new employees in the area of expertise. 10% domestic/international travel required.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or related field and 1 year of experience. Will accept a Master’s degree and 0 years of experience. Experience or coursework must include: data and statistical analysis using Excel advanced functions; knowledge of appropriate transportation modes for specific parts purchases; U.S. import and export regulations and requirements; knowledge of supply chain impacts to financial statements; ethical procurement practices. 10% domestic/international travel required.
