A Snapshot of Your Day
The Rotor Storage Lead plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by implementing and overseeing processes, procedures, and standardization across the rotor storage operations. This role is responsible for managing both current operations and expansion initiatives within the North American rotor storage business. Key responsibilities include engaging with major clients, ensuring seamless business transactions, and fostering strategic partnerships to support long-term success.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Ensure compliance with company policies and promote alignment with Siemens-Energy’s safety culture across all functions while managing financial aspects of the RNA and Local Rotor Storage business, including cost management and revenue forecasting.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for asset management and storage inquiries, while collaborating with sales Account Managers to support customer asset management needs.
- Lead the development of proposals for rotor inventory and storage services, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and incorporating these specifications into accurate cost estimates.
- Review and negotiate contracts, Purchase Orders, and other commercial terms to secure favorable conditions for both the company and clients.
- Ensure timely transfer of all necessary documentation to the Project Delivery Management Team for accurate order entry and processing, and provide comprehensive project handoff documentation to the Client Service Project Manager.
- Maintain and update a detailed inventory tracking tool for all RNA locations, including client information, equipment descriptions, Purchase Orders, validity dates, and locations, while preparing and delivering project documentation and reports for internal stakeholders and external customers.
What You Bring
- Technical Diploma or Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience in asset management, storage services, or a related field, with a focus on financial management and client relations. Those with more experience may be considered for a more senior level.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficient in contract negotiation and management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and financial forecasting tools.
