A Snapshot of Your Day

The Repair Center Technician is responsible for performing complete operation checkout, modification, disassembly, repair, reassembly, test calibration, diagnosis, and correction of problems. Follows repair and return processes to ensure high quality and short cycle time of repair and return. Sets up necessary repair and test facilities.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support team members in achieving their goals through coaching and development and facilitate collaboration
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and company policies to ensure consistent and compliant production processes.
  • Identify and interpret JHAs related to assigned tasks
  • Assist in maintaining a clean work environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications as required per department, such as but not limited to Forklift and Crane Operation.
  • Operate department equipment and tooling as needed, such as but not limited to hand tools, hydraulic press, and forklift.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Preferred 1 year experience in inspecting and testing electrical and hydraulic products in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability and willingness to work a high percentage of overtime (including 12-hour shifts)
  • Preferred forklift experience, not required
  • Effective communication and listening skills” proficient in Microsoft office, excel, Word.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
