A Snapshot of Your Day
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for the U.S. Northeast region is fully accountable for the commercial performance, market growth, and customer relationship management for Siemens Energy Distribution Transformers across the Northeast United States. This role owns regional order intake, margin performance, market transparency, and strategic account development across utility, industrial, EPC, and datacenter segments. The RSM acts as the commercial leader for the territory, coordinating with proposal engineering, project management, field service, and the global manufacturing teams to deliver competitive technical and commercial solutions aligned with business objectives.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Own regional order intake, revenue, and profitability targets, ensuring alignment with North America strategic objectives
- Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy to drive pipeline growth, forecast accuracy, and margin discipline
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategy, and contractual alignment to protect profitability and mitigate risk
- Identify and expand strategic accounts while maintaining strong customer- and solutions-oriented engagement
- Manage and develop sales agents and channel partners, ensuring performance accountability and alignment with regional goals
- Maintain real-time market intelligence on competitive activity, pricing trends, and emerging opportunities in electrification, grid modernization, and data center expansion
- Represent the Distribution Transformers business at key industry events and collaborate with proposal teams to deliver competitive, technically sound bid strategies
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of technical sales experience within power systems; transformer experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and strategic accounts
- Strong understanding of distribution transformer applications, utility procurement processes, and commercial contracting fundamentals
- Demonstrated negotiation expertise and solid financial acumen, including pricing and margin management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong relationship-building capabilities
- Results-driven professional with a disciplined, growth-oriented mindset
