About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Proposals Analysis Professional you will develop and deliver competitive customer proposals for Large Generators (LGN) Factory Service. You will serve as the LGN interface for multiple internal and external customers to develop competitive winning proposals focusing on generator rotors, stators, exciters, and related components. Whether rapidly for unplanned outages or in advance for future projects, you will develop customer-oriented proposals for modernization or repair of generators and exciters with colleagues across disciplines.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Help customers modernize generators and exciters or return generation assets back to service by developing comprehensive cost quotes and schedules for manufacturing and supply of new replacement, service modernization, or service repair of generator and exciter products.
- Collaborate across fields to define scope requirements for engineering, manufacturing, supply management, and other parties following Customer Bid Specifications.
- Drive internal and external customers to find opportunities and close orders to drive growth targets.
- Guide recommendations for strategic spares and overall planning by maintaining Service load forecast.
What You Bring
- BS/BA in Engineering or Business-related field or equivalent experience may be considered.
- 2-4 years of related work experience in Projects, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Tendering, those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
- Deep understanding of Generator Manufacturing (Rotor, Stator, or Exciter) preferred.
- Excellent communication skills across audiences – customer, engineering, management, manufacturing.
- Proven experience in learning new software and IT tools, experience in SAP (OPP) a plus.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
