About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
Join Siemens Energy and take ownership of all onsite activities for complex industrial construction projects. As the legally responsible site leader, overall coordination of project execution, safety, and team performance sits at the heart of this role. Acting as the key link between project management, customers, and authorities, the position ensures smooth collaboration and strong relationships across all stakeholders. From managing schedules and quality to steering risks and deviations, each day brings a mix of leadership, problem-solving, and tangible project impact. - Act as the primary on-site interface for customers, regulatory authorities, and consultants, representing project management interests.
- Lead and coordinate construction execution, balancing schedule, cost, and quality targets within the Siemens Energy scope of work.
- Manage and document deviations (non-conformances) from erection procedures, specifications, and schedules, while advising contract and claim management activities.
- Drive corrective actions, risk mitigation measures, and proper reporting of material damages in collaboration with commercial and contract teams.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in electrical or civil engineering, ideally with an electrical focus.
- Minimum of 5 years’ onsite leadership experience on major construction sites (electrical or civil site lead roles)
- Extensive experience in industrial construction projects, preferably in EPC or consortium environments and ideally HVDC exposure.
- Strong expertise in EHS practices, regulations, and site safety management for large-scale projects
- Advanced English proficiency; German or additional languages are a plus, with willingness to work abroad.
