A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Product Owner & Requirement Engineer, you will serve as the critical link between business stakeholders, end users, architects, and agile delivery teams. Your day will involve translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements, managing and prioritizing the product backlog, and ensuring that product deliveries generate measurable business value. You will drive collaboration across cross-functional teams, helping shape product vision, define roadmaps, and ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.

How You'll Make an Impact

Requirements Engineering

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and business process analysis sessions.
• Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), process flows, use cases, and user stories.
• Define and manage acceptance criteria while ensuring full requirements traceability.
• Assess and manage requirement changes, including impact analysis.
• Ensure alignment between business requirements, solution architecture, and technical design.

Product Ownership

• Own, manage, and continuously refine the product backlog.
• Prioritize features, enhancements, defects, and user stories based on business value and strategic goals.
• Partner with stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap, and release priorities.
• Ensure backlog readiness for development teams through effective grooming and refinement activities.
• Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and Program Increment (PI) planning.
• Validate delivered functionality and formally accept completed user stories.
• Communicate product progress, priorities, and expectations to stakeholders.

Stakeholder & Delivery Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for requirements, product priorities, and stakeholder alignment.
• Collaborate closely with business users, software engineers, architects, UX designers, and project managers.
• Identify and resolve risks, dependencies, and delivery bottlenecks.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business objectives and customer expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement through stakeholder feedback, product metrics, and data-driven decision-making.

What You Bring

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, enterprise application delivery, and product development.
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Requirements Engineer, Business Analyst, or a similar role within Agile environments.
• Proven track record in requirements management, backlog ownership, stakeholder engagement, and end-to-end product delivery.
• Strong experience working with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, architects, and software development teams.
• Experience operating within Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) frameworks.
• Professional Product Owner certifications such as PSPO, CSPO, or equivalent certifications are preferred.

Technical & Functional Skills

• Requirements elicitation, analysis, and management.
• Business process modeling (BPMN, process mapping).
• User story creation, backlog refinement, and prioritization.
• Product roadmap planning and value-driven delivery.
• Acceptance criteria definition and testing support.
• Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodologies.

Tools & Technologies

• Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar backlog management platforms.
• Confluence, Polarion, DOORS, or other requirements management tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC practices.
• Knowledge of APIs, enterprise integrations, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications is an advantage.
