A Snapshot of Your Day 

Your day starts with your own focus time where you define your working agenda for the day.
After that you prepare the first meetings with internal colleagues for upcoming negotiations with your client. Then you implement the latest inputs in your layout.
You may have to meet with the Layout contributors in person via Microsoft Teams in case of remote working, and you will be involved in the finding of improvements and solutions in your layout concept with the interdisciplinary project team.
During afternoons you may have customer meetings in which you will present and discuss the plant layout and obtain the Client early feedback.
Afterwards, you could have internal meetings with the project team to define the next steps in the design process.


How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Coordination of the complete Plant Layout scope regarding all aspects for Combined Cycle Power Plants, Power-to-X, grid stabilization, and other projects in R&D, proposals, and project execution
  • Leadership of the international Plant Layout team in a professional manner to ensure project success
  • Development, communication, and negotiation of technical solutions internally and externally, along with clarification of interfaces with vendors, designers, and consultants
  • Organization and coordination of meetings and design reviews with the internal team, the customer, and other partners
  • Involvement in 3D/2D design activities and responsibility for the quality of the design
What You Bring
  • University degree in engineering. Alternatively, you have a comparable education in a technical field with corresponding professional experience
  • Professional experience in turnkey projects, ideally in the field of Power - and other Industrial Plants
  • Leadership and communication skills as well as motivation, willingness to learn and passion for the job
  • Willingness for international travelling
  • Fluent English skills, German (B1 level) is required
  • Basic knowledge of CAD tools (AutoCAD, E3D/PDMS or similar) or willingness to learn them
