About the Role
- Analyze turbomachinery components to meet performance, durability, and manufacturability requirements across the full lifecycle
- Apply and enhance FEA and CFD modeling techniques to evaluate stresses, fatigue, and vibration behavior of the components under complex loading conditions
- Validate and improve simulation methods and tools to support design optimization and robustness
- Document analysis results and ensure compliance with established engineering standards and quality processes
- Collaborate with manufacturing and operation teams to resolve production and field issues through design studies and root cause analysis
- Leverage test and field data to refine analytical accuracy, including vibration response such as flutter and forced excitation
- Advanced university degree (Master or higher) in Mechanical, Aerospace or Materials engineering
- Strong foundation in stress analysis, modal analysis, aeroelasticity, fatigue modeling and material behavior
- Proficient in FEA tools (e.g. ANSYS) and/or CFD-based aeroelastic simulations and programming skills is a plus
- Business-fluent English, along with confident German language skills that enable effective collaboration with local teams and production partners
