We are seeking a Junior Project Engineer with a degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience in high voltage transmission services. This role is designed for individuals eager to gain site experience and develop the skills necessary to progress to a Project Manager position. The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers and project managers, participating in various projects and gaining valuable insights into project management and execution.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Participate in customer discussions, representing the project in relevant internal and external conversations.

• Coordinate overall project planning, including personnel and specialized test equipment.

• Monitor project milestones and budgets, initiating actions to minimize non-conformance costs.

• Maintain constant communication with customers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

• Engage with customers and partners to establish close and trustful relationships.

• Adhere to Siemens Energy’s Project Management, Project Excellence, Business Conduct Guidelines, and HSE standards.

• Manage and coordinate temporarily assigned project staff and conduct regular site visits.

• Drive the implementation of solutions for any issues that arise and execute risk mitigation plans.

• Implement lessons learned feedback after project completion.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in High Voltage Transmission Services (GIS, HVDCAIS, TX, CBs, etc.).

• Knowledge and experience with Transmission Products, Solutions, and Services.

• Previous experience as a site/field service technician or supervisor is a plus.

• Relevant training in Project Management, including certification from a professional body, is desired.

• Comfortable handling commercial-related topics and contract management with a keen eye for detail.

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with local, regional, and global teams.

• Ability to understand and navigate cultural differences.

• Willingness to adapt to unpredictable situations and demonstrate a positive attitude in challenging environments.

• Proficient in IT tools, including Microsoft Office, SAP, Salesforce, etc.

• Must be mobile and willing to travel locally and regionally for project needs.
