A Snapshot of Your Day 

As part of the Internal Control Corporate team at Siemens Energy, you are key to ensuring an efficient internal control system. In your role as a Internal Control Professional (f/m/d), you collaborate closely with Global Process Owners to develop and enhance this system across the organization. Acting as an expert consultant, you bring specialized knowledge of internal control methodologies to help identify and establish essential controls within Siemens Energy’s business and IT frameworks.

Your responsibilities include implementing a streamlined internal control system across multiple operational entities, supporting annual reporting, and meeting all legal internal control requirements. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the global internal control community by sharing insights and expertise. This role reports directly to the Head of Internal Control Corporate at Siemens Energy.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Drive legal requirements analysis for internal control and support IC management to incorporate the legal developments within internal control.
  • Deliver the internal control part for the annual report in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate internal control system for several operative entities, including mastering a GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tool.
  • Deliver projects such as control harmonization, improvement, and automation initiatives, and support processes or business model changes.
  • Drive process and control changes by working with global process owners to gain efficiencies and improve the control environment.
  • Ensure an appropriate level of communication is maintained on Internal Control matters to support the framework and ensure appropriate ownership and accountabilities.
What You Bring
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Law, or a related field with experience in accounting, internal control, or legal fields
  • Proven expertise in internal control frameworks (e.g., SOX, COSO) and experience applying these across business processes
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting legal regulations in both English and German
  • Familiarity with GRC tools and their application in internal control
  • Fluency in English and German is essential
  • Comfortable with occasional travel (5%) as part of the role
