A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Data Analytics IT Service Manager for Manufacturing Data Products you will focus on enhancing, expanding, and operating the existing cloud solution(s). Your primary responsibility is to ensure seamless integration of the applications into the Data& IT Landscape as well as into the manufacturing network, harmonize data, and facilitate effective communication between systems without disrupting business continuity. You will work within the DC (Digital Core) department managing the technical aspects of digital transformation, including IT services, cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of data-related solution(s).
- Conduct structured analysis and manage requirements directly with factories.
- Ensure access, quality, and availability of operational data from factories for ETL pipelines (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading) as input data for the Factory Digital Twin Shell.
- Secure and maintain data structures with factories concerning Products, Processes, and Resources in the specific Service.
- Oversee IT Service responsibilities, managing daily operations to ensure the platform's security, availability, and reliability.
- Coordinate incident resolution in active factories, manage patching, maintenance duties, user management, and licenses.
- Define and implement Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards for the IT Service, including usage, availability, etc.
- Contribute to optimizing the entire flow of data, values, and processes within the Business Area & IT Service, aiming for a transparent, data-driven, agile, and efficient organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of digital twin solutions.
- Analyze and optimize simulation data to improve manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical support and training to team members on the application.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in digital twin technology and implement best practices.
What You Bring
- A successful university degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Profound understanding and experience in production, manufacturing processes, and technologies.
- Experience in Project and Service Management (IT infrastructure, network services, application management, cybersecurity).
- Experience in the manufacturing area, with advantage if it is related with data processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS.
- Experience with relational databases, queries (SQL) and cloud-data storage solutions (S3, Athena, etc.).
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is preferable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple data products & solutions simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel globally, visit factories, and organize workshops within a large, complex, and global network of factories.
