A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Global Service Owner for the MES application, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the global operation of a Manufacturing Execution System and closely collaborate with the application owner.
You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth utilization and release implementation of MES application, working closely with business users to implement change requests and optimizations related to manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will play a key role in stakeholder management and you are responsible for data management in the relevant service-relevant IT systems.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Our team is actively supporting the Siemens Energy Digital Transformation in the Manufacturing area. We are looking for a driven, self-motivated individual with excellent service orientation and skills/experience to support the IT implementation of our digitalization projects for manufacturing processes.
- organize the internal provision of services together with the responsible administrators and see yourself as part of your service team with joint responsibility for operations with all parties involved.
- ensure that the IT operating processes of the IT services for which you are responsible comply with the internal process specifications in accordance with ITIL.
- carry out your activities and tasks while adhering to compliance and IT security regulations.
What You Bring
- A degree in business informatics, computer science, business administration with a focus on IT, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable education or professional experience is required.
- Several years of professional experience in IT service management and a sound knowledge of ITIL are essential.
- Experience in managing IT infrastructure and associated technologies, ideally demonstrated in practice, is necessary.
- The ability to familiarize yourself with new topics and manage the high specificity of IT systems developed specifically for Siemens Energy is important.
- Strong communication skills and business fluent German and English proficiency are required.
- The ability to work independently and in a solution-oriented manner without losing sight of the needs of stakeholders and the team is essential
