As a Gas Turbine Mechanical Commissioning Engineer & Fact Finder, you will engage with a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality commissioning and troubleshooting solutions for gas turbines and auxiliary systems. You will work on meaningful projects that directly contribute to the efficiency and reliability of power generation, ensuring that Siemens Energy meets its mission of providing sustainable energy solutions. Expect a collaborative team culture that values integrity, diversity, and effective communication, where your expertise will have a significant impact on clients, partners, and the overall success of our projects.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Perform commissioning, troubleshooting, and fact-finding activities on gas turbines and auxiliary systems.
- Apply Siemens Energy procedures and protocols to execute routine tasks effectively.
- Identify, address, and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
- Prepare detailed outage reports to document findings and actions taken.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to enhance project outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and integrity within the organization.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from a reputable university.
- Solid technical skills in gas turbine commissioning with 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Experience working in a multinational and multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and strong interpersonal skills for effective networking and negotiation.
About the Team:
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
