About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day (Position Overview)
- Manage and execute recurring project financial reporting activities, including Risk & Opportunity (R&O) reporting, Non-Conformance Cost (NCC) reporting, RA Checklists, margin analysis, and other project controlling requirements
- Support monthly forecasting and financial closing activities while maintaining accurate project financial statements, ensuring transparency, compliance, and alignment with financial reporting requirements
- Perform detailed financial analysis, variance reviews, and forecasting assessments to support proactive decision-making and provide data-driven recommendations to project and commercial leadership
- Serve as the key user and subject matter expert for Project DASH and other financial reporting systems, providing guidance, troubleshooting support, and driving process and system improvements across project teams
- Ensure project accounting activities comply with company policies, internal controls, standard accounting practices, and audit requirements, including coordination with external auditors on assigned audit topics
- Provide dedicated financial support for strategic initiatives, special assignments, and complex projects while collaborating cross-functionally with Commercial Project Managers, finance, accounting, and operational teams to resolve outstanding financial matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5–8 years of experience in project accounting, financial controlling, financial analysis, or a related finance role within a project-based or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, cost accounting, variance reporting, revenue recognition, internal controls, and standard accounting practices
- Experience working with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and project financial systems such as Project DASH, with the ability to independently manage complex financial reporting and forecasting activities
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to identify financial risks, investigate variances, and partner effectively across commercial, accounting, finance, project management, and operational teams
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
