About the Role
A Snapshot of Your Day
- Lead financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling to support business performance and strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and executive-level analyses, providing meaningful insights and recommendations to business leadership.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate business performance, support pricing activities, manage headcount and compensation reporting, and lead forecast consolidation efforts.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal financial controls, and corporate policies while supporting audits, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and data accuracy by leveraging SAP, Power BI, Tableau, and other digital tools.
- Serve as a subject matter expert by providing financial guidance to stakeholders, supporting complex financial initiatives, and mentoring junior finance professionals when needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), financial reporting, business controlling, or corporate finance.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting within a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau; experience with process improvement and financial digitalization is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence business decisions and manage multiple priorities independently.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
