Supported by the many specialist departments of our business unit, you will prepare the life cycle assessments for our steam turbines and generators.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Preparation of LCAs for all SE TI STG products in cooperation with partners from different product lines, functional areas and locations using a software tool and its databases to ensure that methods and quality meet current standards
  • Responsibility for the entire life cycle assessment (LCA) preparation process, including development support, reporting, documentation and external verification
  • Providing support for sustainability-related functions, including reporting, sales and customer inquiries
  • Support product communication by preparing environmental product declarations and disseminating LCA results for the “Industrial Steam Turbines and Generators” organization
  • Contribute to the sustainability network by handling reporting, customer inquiries and strategic concepts
  • Engage as an environmental specialist in global EHS projects to promote a culture of safety compliance and cultivate relationships with regulators and client agencies while educating project participants and clients to internalize sustainable environmental concepts

What You Bring

  • Completion of a scientific or technical degree in chemistry, physics, biology, environmental/material sciences, sustainability, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
  • Basic knowledge of programming and data processing, business fluent in German and English and basic project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, strong analytical mindset, communication and presentation skills
  • Desirable comprehensive knowledge in the field of sustainability
  • Familiarity with Siemens Energy products - industrial steam turbines and generators as an advantage
  • Practical experience in preparing life cycle assessments (LCA) and knowledge of current LCA standards and norms
