This is a contract position for an Engineering Configuration Specialist, lasting 6-12 months.
The Engineering Configuration Specialist will be responsible for the following:
· Review & provide configuration data for engineering solutions.
· Create & maintain Product Modification Document.
· Create & update Pre-Release/Release Engineering Bill of Material Proforma.
· Create & maintain Engineering Bill of Material (EBOM).
· Create Material Master (MM).
· Control and update all spares technical records from evaluation and other data. (EBOM)
· Monitor & review any inquiries adjustments to current and future structure.
· Provide support & recommendations as required for the introduction of new product lines and modification campaigns.
· Manage all configuration aspects of Research & Development (R&D) test engine.
How You’ll Make an Impact
· Produce engineering instructions for development activities in response to engineering requirements.
· Create & maintain all EBOMs (Production & Development) in PLM2020.
· Create & maintain all development engines as EQ structures/BOMs in SAP.
· Review and provide configuration data for development, instrumentation and production engineering solutions.
· Must provide support to the vehicle owner and the Operations group during build, test and strip of the development engines.
· Attending various PDP, build/test development vehicle meetings.
What You Bring:
· Technical Diploma (DEC) in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
· Minimum 5-10 years’ experience.
· Organizational relationships – responsible for delivery of the configuration instructions to support build program on allocated engines.
· Cope with pressure arising from changing circumstances and Apply lessons learned from experience. Self motivated & intuitive.
· Implement identified change quickly.
· Computer skills – ability to navigate through common software such as Microsoft and more specialized software such as SAP Atlas and PLM (TeamCenter).
· Good knowledge of French. This position is in a French-speaking environment but requires fluency in English to comprehend documentation and technical terms from international sources, and to communicate with customers, suppliers, or international colleagues.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission Power Generation service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
Within the Gas Service division our Montreal production team is responsible for assembling and repairing the gas turbines and Power Turbines for the A65, A45 and A35 portfolios.
