About the Role
| A Snapshot of Your Day As an EHS Engineer, you will play a key role in fostering a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace while supporting reliable plant operations. You will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs, ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements, and partner with plant teams to promote a strong safety culture. Your work will help protect employees, the environment, and business operations while driving operational excellence and sustainability. How You’ll Make an Impact · Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, procedures, and initiatives to support regulatory compliance and operational excellence. · Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, environmental evaluations, and incident investigations, ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions. · Monitor and report EHS performance metrics, compliance activities, and improvement opportunities across plant operations. · Deliver EHS training, awareness programs, and guidance to employees to strengthen safety culture and competency. · Maintain EHS documentation, records, permits, and compliance reporting requirements in accordance with company and regulatory standards. · Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project teams to integrate EHS considerations into daily activities and continuous improvement initiatives. What You Bring · Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related technical discipline. · Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS roles within industrial, manufacturing, energy, construction, or similar operational environments. · Strong knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations, risk management practices, and compliance programs. · Experience conducting audits, incident investigations, risk assessments, and EHS training activities. · Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and EHS reporting, documentation, and management systems. · Professional working proficiency in English, with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM are considered an asset. About the Team Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization.
