A Snapshot of Your Day 


As a Data Analyst (f/m/d), you will support the Process Digitalization Team for Grid Technologies within Siemens Energy. Working closely with more than 30 factories across our global Manufacturing Network, you will contribute to the development and adoption of our secure, centrally governed, and AI-enabled Factory Data Cloud (Data Mesh).

Your focus will be on transforming scalable data into actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making and sustainable business growth. By analyzing complex datasets and translating business requirements into analytical solutions, you will drive cross-functional data and analytics initiatives that enhance competitiveness and support the future development of our products and processes. 

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Conducting in-depth analyses of manufacturing and operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement across the business area
  • Supporting the definition, development, and continuous refinement of data structures and data products, with a focus on data quality, consistency, and usability
  • Collaboration with data engineering and cloud architecture teams to ensure analytical requirements are reflected in data ingestion processes, data models, and platform capabilities
  • Development and maintenance of dashboards, KPIs, reports, and lightweight analytical applications to increase transparency and support data-driven decision-making
  • Continuous evaluation and optimization of analytical workflows, performance metrics, and reporting processes to enhance operational efficiency and business value creation
  • Provision of actionable insights and analytical recommendations to support strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and the adoption of data-driven practices across the organization
What You Bring
  • Academic degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field, combined with professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data-driven process optimization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including hands-on experience with modern data and analytics tools such as Snowflake, dbt Cloud, Alteryx, Python, and SQL
  • Expertise in the development of dashboards, KPI frameworks, reporting solutions, and data visualizations using leading business intelligence platforms such as Power BI and Tableau
  • Solid understanding of cloud-based data ecosystems, preferably Snowflake and AWS, as well as modern data stack concepts including ELT processes and data modeling
  • Ability to transform complex datasets into clear insights, actionable recommendations, and decision-relevant information for stakeholders across all organizational levels
  • Business fluency in English, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, an international mindset and willingness to travel internationally
