A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)

As a Contract Manager you will support commercial contracts for the sale of services and equipment for Siemens Energy’s Transformation of Industry and Distributed Generation businesses, throughout the Americas. The selected individual will perform a full range of contractual services during the entire contractual life cycle.

How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

  • Drafting, reviewing, analyzing, modifying and negotiating contracts and contract modifications.
  • Contractual risk analysis.
  • Performing as a member of a multi-disciplined negotiation team.
  • Supporting internal contractual reviews and management approvals.
  • Conducting trainings for business partners.
  • Contracts support for matters in execution, including changes and the resolution of disputes.

What You Bring (requirements)

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business or Engineering. Advanced degree in Business or Law preferred, but not required.
  • 2-5 years of experience within Commercial Law
  • Proven success in handling complex matters with demonstrated claims management, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a matrixed negotiating team.
  • Determined, resourceful, and pragmatic problem-solver with flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities; recognized for excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally; fluency in English required with Spanish proficiency preferred.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
