We are looking for individuals who are passionate about decarbonizing the power generation sector and are excited about improving the efficiency, flexibility, and availability of combustion turbines. Join our Sales Central Combustion Turbine (CT) Modernizations & Upgrades team in the Gas Services North America region! As a highly motivated individual, you will be eager to push the Siemens Energy (SE) portfolio of products to market and make a significant impact on the industry.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Identify and capture Combustion Turbine (CT) Modernization & Upgrade opportunities through analysis of market trends, customer needs, and industry drivers, partnering with platform teams to incorporate upgrade solutions into strategic bid pursuits.
  • Lead customer-facing presentations and solution reviews, clearly articulating the Siemens Energy value proposition, business benefits, and technical advantages to influence purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional platform teams to develop competitive outage proposals, including scope definition, pricing strategies, execution schedules, and risk assessments that maximize OEM value while meeting business objectives.
  • Own the end-to-end sales lifecycle for CT Modernization opportunities across Open Market and Service Program channels, managing opportunity qualification, pricing, cost and risk evaluation, proposal development, customer engagement, contract negotiations, and internal approvals.
  • Maintain market intelligence on competitors, pricing trends, and customer requirements while developing and updating product marketing collateral to support business growth and market positioning.
  • Drive product line growth through industry engagement, targeted marketing campaigns, demand forecasting, strategic spares planning, Salesforce pipeline management, and communication of product development priorities based on customer feedback and market insights.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline, combined with 5+ years of experience in the power generation or power generation services industry, including 3+ years of hands-on field service experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Siemens Energy gas turbines, modernization, and upgrade solutions, with a strong understanding of turbine performance, service offerings, and OEM value propositions.
  • Strong knowledge of the competitive power generation services landscape, including market trends, customer drivers, and competitor capabilities that influence business strategy and opportunity development.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables), and PowerPoint to support opportunity management, business analysis, forecasting, reporting, and executive presentations. Salesforce.com and SAP experience are preferred.
  • Proven collaborator with strong communication, customer relationship, and negotiation skills, experienced in developing winning bid strategies, proposals, and customer deliverables while driving service sales growth, navigating approval processes, and balancing commercial, operational, and risk objectives.
  • Willing to travel 20% domestically and internationally.
