A Snapshot of Your Day

Your day will involve technically managing all service activities, coordinating work teams and liaising with customers to ensure smooth progress, while enforcing quality regulations and initiating corrective measures as necessary.

Location: Qian tan, Pudong, Shanghai, Business trip: 30%

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Technical responsibility for all service activities within the scope of the contract, including liaison with customers in all technical aspects and technical reporting
  • Organize and coordinate all service activities of work team and/or with other concerned parties to ensure smooth progress of work
  • Control and report progress of work, identify deviations, and initiate corrective measures
  • Enforce adherence to quality regulations, processes, and procedures
  • Liaise with customers to coordinate activities to meet their requirements
  • Initiate expediting measures and coordinate with project management
  • Report deviations and initiate clarification workflow
  • Identify and process possible claims to maximize profitability
  • Align manpower/resource usage to work demand to minimize cost and/or ensure on-time completion of work
  • Provide required reports in a timely manner and in accordance with procedure

What You Bring

  • Technical background in the power generation industry, especially gas turbine, steam turbine or generator - related experience in maintenance, operation, etc.
  • Field service experience (erection, maintenance, commissioning) on rotating equipment
  • Technical communication skills in the power generation field
  • Good English language spoken/written skills, especially basic understanding of technical terms/main components of gas turbine in English is preferred
